Robert Aspinall
Rob has been dancing for over 18 years, with the past decade dedicated to exploring the world of street dance. Starting his journey at just 7 years old in Canberra with a weekly Hip Hop class, Rob quickly found a love for freestyle that would shape his future. With limited access to street styles locally, he auditioned for Project One, the crew he’s now been part of for over 10 years.
Rob’s dance journey began with Popping, then expanded into Locking and Breaking—competing and battling across styles—before specialising in Litefeet and Hip Hop freestyle. His commitment to growth has taken him around the country and the globe, training and competing at events like Litefest UK, Summer Dance Forever (Amsterdam), GR818ERS (Los Angeles), and the HHI World Hip Hop Championships.
Some of his highlights include:
Litefest UK 2024: Top 4 in 2v2 Litefeet, Top 16 in 1v1
Kapow 2023–24: Top 8 in 1v1 Litefeet
The Intersection 2025: Top 8 in 1v1 Hip Hop
Canberra Street Dance Festival 2021: 3v3 Champion
Director of Project One Creative (2022–Present)
Producer of Uncovering Street Dance: Australia (YouTube, 2023)
HHI Australia Nationals 2019 1st Place with Project One
Rob’s Litefeet class at Passion is high energy and packed with community, skill-building, and culture. Students learn the foundational dances—Tone Whop, Bad One, Harlem Shake—along with Litefeet vocabulary like Tic Tac Toe, Drops, and Ankle Bending.
Rob brings a deep love for Hip Hop and R&B music into every session and is passionate about helping students grow physically, mentally, and culturally through the power of dance.
