Oliver Le
Oliver The Unguided first discovered his love for dance through the icons—Michael Jackson and the Jabbawockeez—who sparked his passion from a young age. Over the past 8 years, he’s trained in both breaking and choreography (shoutout to LX and Mute Crew!), but today his main focus lies in Hip Hop freestyle, where he blends raw movement with cultural depth.
Oli has trained and competed locally, nationally, and internationally, with two major standouts: learning from his inspirations while dancing across Europe, and deepening his understanding of Hip Hop culture during a pivotal trip to New York. Along the way, he’s helped raise two dance communities—JOT and Can We Kick It—and proudly won his first Hip Hop battle in Sydney back in 2022.
In Oli Hip Hop class at Passion, expect a dynamic and welcoming vibe. You’ll be learning grooves and foundational movement, cultural context, freestyle concepts—and yes, pushups and bad jokes (e.g., “What do you call a broken ladder? Not safe... safety isn't a joke... anyway.”)
Inspired by Hip Hop artists like Nas, Kendrick Lamar, Method Man, and Busta Rhymes, Oli draws from both music and martial arts—his background in Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Wing Chun influences the flow and form of his movement.
Oli goal is simple:To help every student find confidence and identity in their dance—and have fun doing it.
His mindset:"I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times." – Bruce Lee
Fun fact: He’s allergic to eggs and nuts (but hazelnuts are cool).
