Nicole Sanders
Nicole’s dance journey began at just 5 years old when she joined Mill Park Ballet Centre. After several years of training, the studio closed, leading her to Starzpa—where she dove deeply into Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Musical Theatre, and Commercial Jazz.
By the age of 16, Nicole’s interests began to shift, and her passion for Hip Hop led her to Kstar Studios—an award-winning studio that shaped her foundation in street styles and choreography.
With 19 years of dance experience, Nicole now specialises in open choreography, freestyle, contemporary, and hip hop—blending technique with authenticity in every movement.
Her career has seen her perform and choreograph across major stages and campaigns. She’s been featured in brand work for Nike, Reebok, Platypus, Factorie, Kmart, Myer, PAM, and Melbourne Fashion Week, and performed in high-profile shows like Metamuse by Luca Dinardo, the 2024 AFL Grand Final (with Katy Perry), Australian Open Kids Day, and Meteor City x Exodus A/W24 runway. She also appeared as main cast in music videos for Tones and I’s "I Get High" and Telenova’s "Discotheque", and has choreographed for Kstar Studios, Ascendant Dance Studios, and L2R Dance.
In class at Passion, Nicole offers a space that feels like a breath of fresh air—a non-pressured, open environment where dancers can move honestly and naturally to the music.
Set to R&B, soul, and reggae, her sessions are iridescent, soothing, and empowering, encouraging students to explore their artistry without needing to “perform.”
Her goal: to help students build deeper trust and patience within themselves and their movement.
Her belief: "Don’t perform—be present.
"Fun fact: She’s actually really funny.
