Gian’s dance journey began as early as he can remember, shaped deeply by the culture he was raised in. While he’s explored movement for most of his life, it was Krump that truly resonated with him—and for the past 17 years, it’s been his main focus and passion.

Gian has built an impressive track record both in Australia and internationally. He was part of Raw & Rugged who placed 2nd at World of Dance LA 2015, and performed on Australia’s Got Talent. His Krump experience includes being a 5 to Smoke winner at Clash of the States, Top 18 at Kage 5 in the U.S., and a showcase performer at BVCKSTR Krump in LA. Gian also directed and performed in Grounded: Battle of the Arts pieces from 2015 to 2019, earning multiple podium finishes, and took home 1st Place at Step Off, ADCC, and Space Jam Krump Battles.

Whether battling, choreographing, or teaching, Gian lives and breathes the raw intensity of Krump. His travels have taken him across Australia, LA, and beyond—all in pursuit of deeper connection through movement and expression.

In Gian’s Krump class at Passion, students will learn the foundations of Krump—from basic grooves to advanced technique, freestyle application, musicality, and the philosophy behind the style. The class is rooted in authenticity and expression, offering a glimpse into what Krump is meant to feel like.

Expect an explosive, raw, and transformative experience with music ranging from hip hop and underground to world rhythms. Influences include Kendrick Lamar, Tight Eyez, Beast, Konkrete, and many more.

Gian’s goal is simple:“For students to grasp and understand the real essence of Krump.”
