Elvin Wong
Elvin began his dance journey in high school back in New Zealand, and over the past 10+ years, he has grown into a dynamic and versatile dancer specializing in breaking, hip hop, and litefeet.
Elvin’s experience spans both competitive choreography and international teaching. He has choreographed for IDCO teams competing at HHI, earning accolades like a Silver Medal and 3rd Place in the Adults Division at HHI 2023, as well as podium finishes at events like Dancers Paradise 2018 and Upgrade 2019. He has also taken the stage for HHI Australia guest performances and taught dancers across Hong Kong, the Philippines, and LA.
In Elvin’s class at Passion, students can expect a balance of feel-good R&B vibes and energizing movement, all set to the sounds of artists like Chris Brown, Usher, Vedo, and Tone Stith. Whether chill or high energy, Elvin cultivates an atmosphere where students can vibe with the music, connect with others, and feel encouraged to push their boundaries.
His goal is to create a space where students feel safe and motivated to explore their own dance journeys—whatever that may look like.
Elvin lives by the mindset:"Forever a student."
