Popping is a street dance and one of the original funk styles that came from California during the 1960s-70s. It is based on the technique of quickly contracting and relaxing muscles to cause a jerk in the dancer's body, referred to as a pop or a hit.

In our KPOP classes, you will learn the exact dance routine performed in your favourite KPOP music videos. As the name states, KPOP itself refers to the new craze of Korean Pop that is taking over the world!

Locking can be traced back to the late 1960's and was created by Don Campbell. The name is based on the concept of locking which means freezing from a fast movement and "locking" in a certain position, holding that position for a short while and then continuing in the same speed as before. It relies on fast and distinct arm and hand movements combined with more relaxed hips and legs. The movements are generally large and exaggerated, and often very rhythmic and tightly synced with the music.

Waacking involves intricate and delicate hand, wrist and arm movements intertwined with strong poses that make this such a formidable style.

Footwork, footwork, footwork is the name of the game! House dance, as the term suggests, is predominantly danced to House music. Upbeat, light, fast-paced, this style will surely challenge your fitness.

Krump is a style characterized by free, expressive, exaggerated, and highly energetic movement. The emotion is raw and this is a unique way for it's expression.
