Street Jazz & Commercial
Street Jazz & Commercial Choreograph really delves into your sassy and sexy side. Hair flicks, floor work, booty pump & all, this class will leave you feeling confident and on top of the world. Sometimes taught in heels, no doubt you'll be working up a sweat.
Hip Hop
Hip Hop, not only a timeless style, represents a deep and historical culture. Our classes at Passion are focused on teaching foundation grooves, movements and putting them together to create a cohesive piece of art.
Popping
Popping is a street dance and one of the original funk styles that came from California during the 1960s-70s. It is based on the technique of quickly contracting and relaxing muscles to cause a jerk in the dancer's body, referred to as a pop or a hit.
KPOP
In our KPOP classes, you will learn the exact dance routine performed in your favourite KPOP music videos. As the name states, KPOP itself refers to the new craze of Korean Pop that is taking over the world!
Locking
Locking can be traced back to the late 1960's and was created by Don Campbell. The name is based on the concept of locking which means freezing from a fast movement and "locking" in a certain position, holding that position for a short while and then continuing in the same speed as before. It relies on fast and distinct arm and hand movements combined with more relaxed hips and legs. The movements are generally large and exaggerated, and often very rhythmic and tightly synced with the music.
Waacking
Waacking involves intricate and delicate hand, wrist and arm movements intertwined with strong poses that make this such a formidable style.
House
Footwork, footwork, footwork is the name of the game! House dance, as the term suggests, is predominantly danced to House music. Upbeat, light, fast-paced, this style will surely challenge your fitness.
